St. Patrick's Day 2010
Celebrate with us on St. Patrick’s Day! Starting with Mass at 10:30 a.m. with the WS Irish American Club, the principal celebrant this year is Fr. John McNulty. The St. Colman Choir and the fifers and drummers from the WSIA will be providing the music.
After Mass, stop down in the hall for a green carnation for your lapel, coffee, soda bread and bangers for sale, to boost your strength for the rest of the day!
Hop on the Rapid right down the street for the St. Patrick’s Day parade starting at 1:00 p.m. just a short ride downtown.
Then come back for the Patton/Conway/McGoun Party from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in our Hall, featuring Irish Dancers, Bagpipes and Great Lakes Brewing Company beer, corned beef and potato soup. Admission is $5 for those 12 years of age and older, $3 for those under 12, $25 limit per family. Food and drinks are separate.
This party started as a family get-together and has grown in size by word of mouth and is open to all friends of St. Colman. The Parish and the Conway, Patton, and McGoun families wish to thank the GREAT LAKES BREWING COMPANY for their generous donation of food and beverages, and to the Irish Dancers, Pipers and Drummers etc. who will provide the entertainment. Thank you to the many volunteers who staff the event.
All proceeds from the day’s events benefit the Parish.
You are always welcome at St. Colman’s. Join us to ensure the future of the Parish….start on St. Patrick’s Day!
